Using Photography to Heal Refugees’ Wounds

Art has long been recognized as a means of healing trauma, and few have experienced as much turmoil as refugees fleeing Syria. Through a project started by the NGO Christian Aid (of the United Kingdom), adolescents begin documenting their new lives and healing processes with photography, and develop narratives about their own pasts. Phil Coomes of the BBC News reports.
