Event: Women’s Activism in Modern Guatemala
July 29th, the New York University School of Law’s Center for Human Rights and Global Justice will host a lunch lecture by Dr. Tine Destrooper. Destrooper will lead a discussion on social justice and how transitional justice after mass violence in Guatemala affected the nation’s women and their place in society. The event will be held from 12:30 pm- 2:00 pm July 29th, at WILF Hall at NYU. Lunch is included.
