Beit Berl University, located in Kfar Sava, Israel, has continued its “Time Tunnel” project. The program is intended to promote common understanding about a dual Jewish-Arab identity in a polarized Israel. The Time Tunnel has most recently released an exhibition of photos of immigrants to Israel in the 1950s, meant to show both sides of the conflict as human. Beit Berl’s project promotes discourse about the young nation’s past, and the unification of a new, national identity.
