Weiss-Livnat Internship Positions at POLIN Museum in Warsaw

New Prestigious Internship Opportunities for Students of the Weiss-Livnat International MA Program for Holocaust Studies.

The University of Haifa is proud to announce the allocation of prestigious internships at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw, which will be awarded to two students of the program.

The internships positions are part of the emphasis our program places on Holocaust education in museum settings: https://haifaholocauststudies.wordpress.com/2015/02/23/museum-studies-and-curating-experience-in-our-ma-program/.

Each year two students will be selected to intern at the museum’s education department and other select projects while acquiring hands-on experience and understanding of the world of museums.

The internships are 3-5 weeks long.
The internships are unpaid positions.

The Weiss-Livnat program will provide costs of flights and rent in Warsaw for the duration of the internship.

The candidates will be selected by a committee of staff from the Weiss-Livnat MA Program and the POLIN Museum.
This offer is exclusive to the students of the Weiss-Livnat program.
The first students to be selected for the pilot program will start their internships at the museum in autumn-winter 2015.
