‘Corporate complicity and transitional justice – are the UN Guiding Principles providing the standards to deal with the challenge?’
Dr Judith Schönsteiner researches corporate responsibility and HR as well as the Inter-American system of human rights, will discuss corporate responsibility and transitional justice in the Ruggie Guiding Principles, with some reference to Inter-American system jurisprudence, inter alia on Colombia. A paper will be pre-circulated to registered attendees.
Bio: Dr Schönsteiner is currently Director of the Human Rights Centre and Associate Professor of Law at the Diego Portales University in Chile. She holds a PhD and an LL.M. in International Human Rights Law from the University of Essex, and an M.A. in Political Science from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany. Her research focuses on the Inter-American System of Human Rights and issues of business and human rights
