Telling Personal Stories from the Holocaust Makes History Come Alive

Taking history out of the textbook and putting a real person’s name or face to it is proving advantageous to students learning in the classroom. Jeremy Elias goes around to NYC classrooms and tells his grandfather’s Holocaust story enabling students to gain a different type of insight on history and showing how dialogue can really make a difference in a learning experience.
